The Battle of Algiers (aka La Battaglia di Algeri)

So I saw a movie last night that was very powerful. It was powerful for cinematic reasons (it should have been a documentary with all the wartime footage used) as well as a timely story with current issues being what they are. So, if you are someone that is interested in learning more about where we are in our current situation in iraq and how we got there, go out and rent this movie. Finally, this movie was made over 40 years ago, which some might say makes it even more powerful.
